Ormiston State School we have a specialist classroom music teacher who teaches
our students for 30 minutes each week. This program is taught primarily through
the Kodaly Pedagogy. This method of
teaching and learning ensures that students are actively making music
throughout their whole music lesson each week.
Students in all year levels learn musical concepts through singing songs
and playing many fun, musical games.
They also have many opportunities to practice these skills by playing a
variety of instruments in the classroom.
