Ormiston State School provides your child with an amazing start to their first year of formal schooling. A school prospectus (PDF, 1185KB) provides parents with important information about school life of a prep student.
Prospective parents of prep enrolments are asked to view the Department's prep ready reckoner calculator to determine when your child can commence their preparatory year.
Review the school’s enrolment management plan together with the catchment map, as these conditions affects your eligibility to enrol at our school.
If your child is age appropriate and you wish to proceed with an enrolment application, then complete the enrolment form (PDF, 515 KB). All enrolment applications are welcomed.
Enrolment forms for Prep 2021 will be accepted from
Day 1 of Term 3. All ‘out of catchment’ applications are required to be
submitted over the counter, while observing social distancing rules. Any consideration of ‘out of catchment’
enrolments will be taken on the basis of order of received applications from
8am Monday 13 July. Please note – ‘in catchment’ enrolments can be
accepted at any time after this date, preferably by 31 July 2020.
Lodge your child’s enrolment application, their original birth certificate and supporting documentation as outlined in the enrolment management plan with the school administration.
You will be invited, via email, to attend the Prep Open Day early in term 3.
Parents will receive notification of Prep class placement at the completion of the enrolment process via the mail at the end of term 4.
