In Year 1 teachers embed Age Appropriate Pedagogies throughout all areas of the curriculum. This supports student learning across all Key Learning Areas (KLAs) and is enhanced by hands on, child centred activities.
Teachers also cater for the differing needs of individual student’s learning styles. Year 1 students are engaged in technology programs to become independent lifelong learners.
Students are learning design technologies and processes to enrich their learning. Year 1 students are continuing to learn and display Teamwork, Ownership, Participation and Sensitivity (TOPS) values in all areas of their schooling.
