In Year 6 teachers promote the development of leadership and independent skills in students, focusing particularly around learning, personal organisation and time management.  This supports student learning across all Key Learning Areas (KLAs) and is enhanced by rotations across a range of subjects and teachers.

Year 6 students participate in a 5 day camp to Tallebudgera which builds on peer relationships and is an opportunity to display Teamwork, Ownership, Participation and Sensitivity (TOPS) values they have learnt throughout their schooling.

In Semester 2 the teachers prepare the students for High School through a range of transition activities.  The year culminates with a Year 6 Farewell event that celebrates this special, final year of Primary School.
