By Year 5 and Year 6, students are involved in making scientific and engineering based solutions for a variety of challenges and situations. In Term 4, an Ormiston State School team is selected to compete in a cluster STEAM-athlon, competing in STEAM challenges with students from schools in the Redlands. Students in Years 5 and 6 are also able to participate in the Innovation program held at a local Secondary School.
