Parents & Citizens Association
The Ormiston State School Parent’s & Citizens’ Association (P&C) is a group of parents and local community members who come together once a month to help meet the needs of our school and to support the quality education of our children.
Parent volunteers are elected to act as an Executive Committee; however the real strength of the P&C comes from the ideas, effort and energy of all people from our community who make up the membership. If you think you might be interested in helping, no matter how small, or at what hour of the day, please contact us.
Supporting the Ormiston State School P&C also helps support:
• The Tuckshop
• The Chappy Program
• Resources or services for the benefit of students at the school

P&C meetings
The P&C meets once a month on a Monday night. Meetings start at 6.30 pm and are usually held in the Science Room (C Block). Any change to the location or meeting date is identified in the newsletter the week prior to the meeting.
How can I raise an issue with the P&C?
The best way to raise an issue is to come along to a meeting yourself. If possible, please let the Secretary know ahead of time what you would like to talk about and it can be added to the agenda. We aim to keep the meetings as effective and short as possible so prior notice regarding topics helps us keep to this objective. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend a meeting, please contact any of the P&C committee members on the email listed above.
