All members of the school community including, parents, grandparents and younger siblings are encouraged to stop by join to in the fun. In addition to our regular school class library programs, children and families are encouraged to:

  • Purchase from scholastic book club.

  • Play in the games area.

  • Seek advice on all aspects of technology.

At the library, we are proud of our fierce community spirit. We endeavour to foster a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere in a ‘café style’ learning environment. We are here to assist the entire school community with whatever they require. Please feel free to seek advice or assistance from us in regards to any topic at all about resourcing, education, achievement, technology. We will always try our hardest to find an answer to your query.

Readers’ club operates through the library before school, during first break and after school and encourages families to read together through an incentive scheme. Please see the library staff or the captains about the guidelines for this innovative program.

Our library is heavily Information communication technology (ICT) based. We support the students, staff and families with their ICT needs and queries. We use web conferencing to engage our local kindergarten children at Sunkids, Ormiston Pre-School and Jumping Beans in early English experiences and transitioning to school. In the near future we aim to hold web conferencing session to engage our community after hours in their homes.

Please come and join in the excitement and fun at our school library. We can’t wait to meet you.
