Anzac Day observance

Each year we take the time to stop and remember the ANZACs.

The 2015 ANZAC Commemoration is especially significant as the 100th Anniversary of the original landing at Gallipoli.

Special Guests included representatives of the Australian Defence Force, ex servicemen representing the Cleveland RSL, Elected Government and Council representatives and  Ormiston State School Community representatives.

Two representatives from each class, special guests, family members and students are all invited to lay a wreath out of respect for all the men and women who were involved in war.

The parade this year was led by our school captains with an address by a current ADF serviceman who shared the story of the ANZAC Landing and expedition with our students. This service concluded with a morning tea hosted by our school.

Lest we forget.
