Important School Procedures.

The safety and well-being of students is of utmost importance, and school procedures that aim to ensure this are:

• Early Departure from school procedure.

If any student is to leave school prior to the normal dismissal time of 3p.m., for any reason whatsoever, a parent/caregiver or an adult bearing written permission from the parent/caregiver MUST come to the office and obtain an Early Departure Slip from the office staff. Teachers will not release students to any adults prior to 3p.m unless they have an Early Departure slip from the office.

• Student Absences.

Parents/caregivers are required to provide a brief note of explanation to your child’s teacher on the day following an absence. If this is not possible, a phone call to the office on 3824 9111 or personal contact will suffice. This will ensure that unauthorized absences do not occur.
